"Ukrainian Patterns. Olga Bachynska's Collection. First Edition" is a popular science album that first published, certified, and researched folk ornaments drawn from Ukrainian embroidered items of the late 19th and mid-20th centuries; most of the ornaments date back to the early 20th century.
The book presents one hundred spreads from the working album of Olga Antonivna Bachynska, a researcher of Ukrainian culture, public figure, and collector.
The book aims to present the ethnographer's work to the general public and return the forgotten name of the outstanding researcher to the modern cultural and information space.
The publication was prepared using archival materials from the Olga Bachynska Memorial Museum, a branch of the Stryi Regional Museum "Verkhovyna".
