The book “Ukrainian Jewelry | Modern Jewelry and Art Jewelry from Ukraine” tells about talented jewelers, designers, and artists who are engaged in creative activities in the field of jewelry.
The book has 33 participants, including well-known jewelry brands; individual designers and studios working with precious stones and materials; famous fashion designers; ceramists; and those who experiment with interesting and unusual materials.
The largest section of the book is dedicated to designers and studios working with precious stones and metals, as well as alloys. All of them are united by a passion for their work, respect for traditions, and an original visual style.
Some studios were founded after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, during a period of deep upheaval and rethinking. The war had a significant impact on the jewelry industry: at its beginning, many creatives doubted whether jewelry, especially expensive ones, would be in demand in such times.
