“The Eden Project. In Search of the Magical Other” by James Hollis is a book that debunks the illusion that someone else will appear in our lives, protect us, save us, help us become ourselves.
The author forces us to think about who we are, what is happening inside each of us and in our relationships with others, and to realize our personal responsibility for our lives and for the relationships we enter into. This is a call for individual growth, not seeking salvation thanks to others.
James Hollis is a licensed Jungian analyst with a private practice in Washington, D.C.
