The publication presents the most striking examples of majolica from the 19th and early 20th centuries by famous and unknown masters from two pottery centers of Ukraine, Kosova and Pistinya, located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. These are various groups of ceramics, including tiles, dishes (bowls, saucers, plates, paskovnyky, jugs, baths, mugs, kalachi) and candlesticks, which are stored in many museums in Ukraine and Poland, as well as private collections. Most of these items are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.
A book for collectors, art historians, ethnographers, museum employees, teachers, students, and admirers of Ukrainian culture.
