C. G. Jung's book "Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious" consists of articles published in 1933-1955, in which the author develops some of the most important elements of his analytical theory.
Before us is a presentation of the doctrine of the collective level of the unconscious part of our psyche, and of archetypes as innate universal structures that make up the content of this collective unconscious. The figurative parallelism inherent in various mythologies, religions, arts, fairy tales, philosophical, alchemical and scientific teachings, as well as our dreams, fantasies and delusions, helps the author to identify and describe these archetypes, as well as to investigate their influence on the formation of a person.
