Myron Korduba's "Easter Eggs in Galician Volyn" is one of the first thorough studies devoted to Ukrainian Easter egg making.
Despite the geographical locality (Northern Galicia), the author uses a broad scientific context - both Ukrainian and European. Of particular interest is the visual morphological analysis of Easter egg ornaments, which has not only scientific but also applied value.
The work is decorated with a large color illustrative appendix with 154 Easter eggs, which was executed in lithography by Andriy Andreychyn.
The reprint is carried out with preservation of the original spelling according to the edition: Korduba M. Easter Eggs in Galician Volyn // Materials for Ukrainian-Russian Ethnology. - Lviv, 1899. - Vol. 1. - P. 168–210; 13 tables.
