Most of the Easter eggs depicted on the puzzle were painted by the Lviv Easter egg artist Vira Manko (born 1956), who is a popularizer of Ukrainian folk culture. She began making Easter eggs in 1986. She is a member of the Lviv branch of the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine. She has painted more than three thousand Easter eggs from different regions of Ukraine.
She is currently the owner of the largest private collection, which includes more than 3,500 handmade reproductions of ancient and modern artifacts, as well as Easter eggs purchased at annual pre-Easter fairs.
