“Chronicle of Ukrainian Design” is a periodical printed publication about the history and development of Ukrainian design initiated by the Spiilka design bureau. The magazine is an attempt to see and show how the Ukrainian design identity was born and changed.
Among the topics of the second issue of the Chronicle: the life and work of Vasyl Yermilov, the Ermilov and Jermilov fonts, the “Ukraine NOW” campaign, an unexpected industrial design from the Antonov aircraft plant — the “kravchuchka”, the “Kyiv-Sport” racing car and others, the portfolio of designer Slava Potievsky, the Reface application and the iBlazr flash.
Typography, graphic design, industrial and digital design — “Chronicle of Ukrainian Design” covers these areas and tells about projects and designers that have influenced Ukraine and Ukrainians or have been noticed in the world.
The second issue was created with the support of ist publishing, leading law firm Vasyl Kisil & Partners, and the SKVOT school of popular culture. All profits from sales will be directed to the implementation of subsequent issues.
