This documentary collection is prepared on the basis of archival materials and rare publications. A total of 105 Ukrainian artists are represented, whose autobiographies were fortunately found and turned out to be interesting. Most of them are published for the first time, and almost all date back to the 1920s.
The book is intended to become a reliable assistant for scientists, teachers, students, and interested readers in learning and researching the complex, ambiguous era of the “Shooted Renaissance,” the image of which it will complement and highlight with many unknown personalities, facts, details, and authentic color.
